Watstein & Watstein, P.C. originally opened in New Haven in 1926 by Attorney Harry Watstein after his graduation from Yale College and Yale Law School. Herbert Watstein, Harry's eldest son opened the Bristol Office (now at 210 Redstone Hill Road) upon his graduation from Yale Law School. In 1963, Herbert's brother, Julius Watstein, joined the firm after his graduation from UCONN Law School in 1963.

Watstein & Watstein, P.C.'s tradition as a firm is its moral pursuit of truth and justice. It's overall guiding principal is "there is no such thing as pure accident because everything that happens must have a reason and a responsibility."
